A FUNdraiser for the Traveling Rack Pack in Downtown Cambridge
What's a Mrs. Roper Romp?
We don't know anyone who couldn't use an excuse to escape the everyday. So this is your chance to throw on a colorful caftan, a curly wig, some chunky jewelry, and let loose in Cambridge channeling your inner Helen Roper. Be a little eccentric for the day while you explore Cambridge... or maybe longer, your choice.
This was not just a girls' day; guys added to the fun, donning their version of Stanley Roper or even Larry Dallas to get into the 70s vibe. Everyone brought their best Mrs. Roper attitude and we had a whole lot of laughs.
Something new for 2026 was FUNdraising for our local Traveling Rack Pack in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Grab your friends and join us in downtown Cambridge on June 26, 2027 for a day of '70s-style fun that's proof that Cambridge is everything but ordinary!
Here's what's happened in 2026.
• 2:00-3:00 PM: Check-In at Galleria 214
Grab your meal ticket, your Roper Romp Passport, and your Mrs. Roper Romp Raffle entry ticket.
• 2:00-5:45 PM: Explore Cambridge
Shop & Stroll until 4pm: Visit local shops. Each purchase receipt counts as an entry for the Shop Local Raffle.
Get Creative until 5pm: Stop at Art Hub to make your included souvenir project.
Happy Hour: Grab a drink at The Keystone Grill and turn in your receipts for extra raffle chances.
• 6:00 PM: Hit the "The Regal Beagle"
It's a themed takeover at the Cambridge Taphouse! Enjoy brats hot from the grill, special taps and wines, and live music followed by a special Lake Ripley Radio playlist, and a chance to win at the raffles.
What did my 2026 ticket get me?
Here's what's was included with a 2026 advance ticket...
Every ticket purchase directly supported The Traveling Rack Pack and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Registration covered:

Event Passport: a Main Street Passport to guide your "Shop & Stroll" and helped track progress toward even more raffle entries.

Mrs. Roper Raffle Entry: the passport automatically entered one into the Mrs. Roper Raffle for a chance to win fun prizes.

Bonus Drink Ticket: A free drink ticket for future use at the Cambridge Area Lions Clubhouse.

Souvenir Art Project: A visit to the Art Hub is included, where Helens crafted their own unique keepsake to take home.

Included Meal: A fresh-off-the-grill brat meal at the "Regal Beagle" (Cambridge Taphouse).
